A new paper entitled ”New Insights in Political Opinion Research by Additional Mobile Survey” by German Public Affairs team members Hermann Hoffmann and Christian Hoops, was presented at Statistical Week 2013 in Berlin. The team’s presentation discusses new findings about the still relatively unknown mostly-mobile audience which comprises relatively many middle-aged men with a good income and high education levels. This audience is quite different from the general population in both their general opinions and in their political participation, making them crucial in the selection of representative audiences for electoral research studies.
